The OBF is a networking forum that takes place every two months at the Al-Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat. The forum encompasses all businesses in the Oman market, it offers new companies the opportunity to introduce themselves and build their corporate image and brand in the community and it affords all attendees the opportunity to gain an insight and awareness into different businesses in the market. Each OBFL has a high profile guest of honor and key note speaker in attendance who addresses the attendees for approximately 10 minutes on current topical business matters in the Sultanate of Oman. Business trends and any new concepts that might be in the pipeline are also discussed. Since the forum is organized by the Al Bustan Palace InterContinental Muscat, and aimed at the private sector it has been extremely successful with over 150 people at each lunch. The forum members gather at 12.30pm for a welcome registration followed by a short introductory informal reception held prior to guests taking their seats just after 1pm. Welcome speeches are acknowledged and a special thanks to the sponsors of the day and business partners for the year. Our guest of honor then takes the floor for around 10 minutes, after which a 3 course set menu is served. The lunch concludes by 3pm allowing the participants to either carry on in their business discussions or head off to their next meetings. The forum lunch offers two different types of sponsorship levels, details are available on this website, or alternatively you may pay to attend the forum lunch only on the day at a cost of RO 8.000 per person and is open to all companies and organizations from all different nationalities.
